About Alison Green, the creator of Phoenix Textiles

With a wide  spectrum of careers and a growing family , Alison Green has sought out her creative side hidden since O level Art days.

The iconic Liberty prints started to be popular in 1888 and are now as sought after  today ; with prints that range from minimalism monochrome to splashes of vibrant pinks, green, yellows, Alison  brings the prints to life using her sewing skills, to enhance any interior with her textiles. Each piece is made in a quirky and unique way.

Alison has been fascinated with the design of Liberty prints and the print processes, so she  has found a way to bring to life her love of Liberty  print with her passion for upcycling and bringing textiles into the home .   Alison  grows in confidence  with her larger pieces of Art by upcycling chairs , using  liberty print textile for the cushion area whilst  using the Victorian craft decoupage.   No material is wasted as scrunchies have come on trend (her daughter’s year 7 friends all wear their scrunchies).
